Emsculpt Neo is a body-shaping procedure that uses radiofrequency heating for fat reduction and high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy for muscle strengthening & toning. Areas available to treat include biceps, triceps, abdomen, inner thigh, outer thighs, quads, hamstrings, and calves.
Your provider will discuss your specific treatment needs. The recommended number of treatments is at least 4 and each treatment typically lasts about 30 minutes per session, with sessions separated by 5 to 14 days. Clinical studies showed 30% reduction in subcutaneous fat and an average of increase in muscle volume by 25% with 4 treatments. Completing a full treatment series is necessary to maximize treatment efficacy. You may want additional treatments, depending on your goals. Each patient’s results vary but the best time to see the results is 3 months after the treatment.
Before the treatment, you are not required to do anything special; however, keeping your body well hydrated is strongly recommended. On the day of the treatment, you are advised to wear comfortable clothing, allowing flexibility for correct positioning during the treatment. To avoid excessive sweating, the treated area should be shaved, or hairs in the treatment area should be trimmed before the treatment. Also, the treated area will be wiped with alcohol wipes before treatment to remove any moisture, perfume, moisturizers, or oils. You will be asked to remove all metallic accessories and electronic devices.

What Does the Treatment Feel Like?
The treatment does not require anesthesia. During the application, you will feel intense muscle contractions and a heating sensation in the treated area, which should not be too painful. Please ask your provider to re-adjust the intensity should you feel any pain or discomfort. The procedure doesn’t require any recovery time. Typically, you can get back to your daily routine right after the treatment.

Cancellation Policy
Modern Dermatology requires a 48-hour notice of any changes or cancellation of any aesthetic appointments. If you make changes to your treatment plan, reschedule, no show or cancel your appointment within 48 hours, you will be required to pay $250.00. If a third late cancellation, change to your treatment plan, reschedule or no show should occur, within the same calendar year, you will be required to pay 50% of the service you are requesting to reserve any future appointments. This amount is non-refundable should you fail to show up or cancel within 48 hours of your appointment.
