Spring is a time for renewal and fresh color — in your beauty routine.

With dewy, warming weather in mind, we’ve rounded up some beauty and makeup products to achieve a glowing, natural look, plus some on-trend pops of color to help you bloom. Here’s looking at you, sunshine.

SPRING CLEAN

Your skin needs spring cleaning, too, so start with a fresh canvas. The new Julep Love Your Bare Face Detoxifying Cleansing Stick ($28 at Julep salons and julep.com), from the Seattle company, contains pomegranate fruit enzymes to gently exfoliate and brighten dry winter skin in convenient stick form.

The body “glotion” contains organic botanical extracts and light-reflecting pearls that obscure imperfections and impart a luminous glow. The multitasker can be used on body, face and hair for subtle shimmer.

Keep that fresh-from-the-shower look all day long with Herbivore Botanicals’ Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Face Mist ($32 Lucca Great Finds, Ballard, and herbivorebotanicals.com), a light, refreshing coconut-water-based spray made in Seattle from all-natural vegan ingredients.

GO NUDE

Natural-looking, no-makeup makeup always works for spring. Nudestix Lip/Cheek Pencils ($24 each at beautylish.com) provide soft color for lips and cheeks with a creamy formula made with shea butter and vitamin E. And they come with their own sharpener and mirror for added convenience.

ADD COLOR

Spring fashion-forward with bright pops of color in vivid floral hues. Julep’s It’s Balm Lip Crayon ($20 at julep.com) comes in fresh, feminine hues, with moisturizing vitamin E and botanical extracts to keep the color going strong all day.

MDM Flow Lipstick ($18 at nastygal.com) is a new line of highly-saturated lip colors inspired by hip-hop culture. Try on the pale purple Milkshake shade, which contains encapsulated pigments that make the color get brighter as you rub your lips together.
