Lisa has been involved in dermatology for over 18 years, excelling in practice management, business planning, staff and patient relations. After graduating from the University of Washington, Lisa began learning the world of dermatology at the front desk and thrived on patient interactions and day to day business operations. Fast forward to today and Lisa spends her time coordinating all facets of Modern Dermatology, priding herself on the customer service we provide while ensuring staff and business development. When not wrangling our team, Lisa keeps an active social schedule with her two children and husband. Traveling, cooking, concerts, theatre and striving for new experiences are Lisa’s treasures, along with laughing throughout the clinic daily.
Satinae has been working in the Dermatology field for over four years. She was raised in Bellingham and moved to Seattle where she received her Esthetician license. Satinae has the compassion and empathy to meet our patient’s needs. She strives to make each and every patient’s experience an enjoyable one from start to finish! Patient care is her priority and when she’s not in clinic, she enjoys traveling with her family and friends.
Allie has three years of experience working in dermatology, two years as a medical assistant and one as a patient care coordinator. Allie has a kind and caring disposition and is willing to help our patients in any way she can. Being a transplant from Colorado, Allie enjoys exploring the greater Seattle area when she is not working. She also likes to travel, play tennis, try new restaurants and spend time with friends and family. Currently, Allie is in graduate school to become a school counselor.
Casey has over 5 years of medical office experience. Her eagerness to learn more about the world of cosmetic and medical dermatology inspired her to seek out Modern Dermatology. Her southern roots bring a cheerful, welcoming, and hospitable environment at the front desk. Casey strives to make our patient’s experience from the first phone call to checkout as easy and pleasant as possible. When Casey isn’t working you can find her in the mountains backpacking, on a track playing roller derby, training for her next race or watching movies with her Maine Coon cat, Klaus.
Jodie is an insurance and authorizations specialist with over 20 years of experience in a hospital setting. She has a strong passion to learn more about cosmetic and medical dermatology. Jodie is attentive, compassionate and is very sensitive to patients’ needs. She strives to make every patient’s visit a pleasant and positive experience. When she is not in clinic, Jodie enjoys playing games, being outdoors, and gardening. Her dream is to experience different cultures, food and customs wherever she travels. When she is not working, Jodie spends quality time with her husband, friends, and beloved kitties.
Hanna is one of our front desk coordinators, who has been serving Modern Dermatology patients since 2016. Hanna has over five years experience in the healthcare industry. She helps with all facets of scheduling, referrals and many administrative projects in our practice. Outside the office, Hanna is busy being a superstar mom to her daughter. In her free time, she loves to explore Seattle and enjoy a good comedy show, but her true passion is to cook amazing meals for her family.
Trisha has eight years of dermatology billing experience and is a certified dermatology biller and coder. She is extremely knowledgeable and a great resource in the ever-changing times of insurance plans. During her free time, Trisha loves to go camping with her family and friends and going off-roading. She also has two dogs that she loves to pieces are the “king” and “queen” of the house.
Nicole is a registered nurse who has worked with Dr. Rogers for five years, assists in Mohs surgery, and leads our back office staff. Her leadership abilities and passion for the care of our patients are evident in the work she does. Outside of the office, Nicole enjoys spending time with her fiancé, knitting, hiking, and reading every good book she can get her hands on.
Kristin has eight years of dermatology experience working with Dr. Rogers. She enjoys working in clinic, administering photodynamic therapy (PDT), and is our Mohs surgery histotech. She prides herself in outstanding patient care and helping the patient feel well taken care of. Outside of the office she loves cooking, baking and spending time with her husband and little boy playing outside.
Lauren attended the University of Washington where she received her Bachelors in Psychology, prior to obtaining her nursing degree at Seattle University. Lauren enjoys the diversity found in dermatology and is passionate about both the medical and cosmetic aspects. Prior to working at Modern Dermatology, Lauren helped bring babies into the world, working on a Labor and Delivery unit and also an OB/GYN clinic. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new restaurants around Seattle, traveling with family and friends, and spending time with her husband and french Bulldog, Luna.
Phoebe, a Puget Sound native, has five years of dermatology experience. She works with Dr Collyer and has a passion for surgical dermatology. She strives to make every patient’s visit here at Modern Dermatology pleasant and efficient. Outside of the office, Phoebe remains busy being an awesome mom to her little girl. In her free time, Phoebe enjoys spending time with her family and loved ones, photography and crafting.
Danielle has 6 years of dermatology experience, works with Dr. Roman, and has been at Modern Dermatology since 2015. She enjoys the positive interactions she gets to have with her patients as well as making sure they receive the best care. Outside of clinic she enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband, family, and friends as well as traveling, hiking, and exploring the great outdoors.
Krysta has over 10 years clinical experience in a variety of specialties, including three years working in dermatology. She works in clinic with Dr Roman and also performs NB-UVB and excimer laser. Krysta is dedicated to providing exceptional, efficient patient care. Her compassion and calm manner are a comfort to her patients. In her personal time, Krysta enjoys reading, hiking, knitting, and finding new ways to express her creativity. Krysta loves to laugh and spend quality time with her family, friends and her 15-year-old cat, Scout, who still looks (and acts) like a kitten.
